A decree has been issued to form the Supreme Committee to look into applicants who apply to acquire the Kuwaiti citizenship.
The decree, which is published today in the Official Gazette ‘Kuwait Alyawm’ stipulates in its first article that the Higher Committee for this purpose will be headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, with Minister of Defense, Minister of Justice and the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers as members, reports a local Arabic daily.
