His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has issued a decision to transfer the supervision of the Financial Investigation Unit (FIU) to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Al-Anba daily has learned that according to the First Article the supervision of the Kuwaiti Financial Investigation Unit mentioned in Article 7 of the aforementioned Cabinet Resolution No. 1532 is transferred to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and he assumes all the powers prescribed for the Minister of Finance in this regard, as stipulated in Law No. 106 of 2013, and the Council of Ministers decision No. 1532 of 2013 referred to.
Article Two: The Prime Minister and the ministers, each within his jurisdiction, must implement this decision, and it shall come into force from the date of its issuance, and every text that contradicts its provisions shall be repealed, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
