The Director of the Meteorological Department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, said that the country witnessed, since this afternoon, a proliferation of low and medium clouds, interspersed with formations of cumulus clouds, thunderstorms raining down some hail, with wind activity exceeding 55 kilometers per hour, causing dust, reducing horizontal visibility while is some areas sea waves were as high as 6 feet.

Al-Qarawi expects this situation to continue today, attributing the reason for this situation to the country being affected by the extension of the seasonal India depression, which brings with it a hot and humid air mass.
