Yesterday, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the amount of subsidy for construction materials remains fixed and has not changed for the consumer, indicating that the rise in international prices for basic materials in general has led to a decrease in the quantities of materials in exchange for what the citizens pays due to many reasons.

In a press statement to KUNA, the ministry confirmed that it has taken several measures to reach consensual solutions suitable for all parties, with priority for the citizens.

Adding that the materials are required to be provided at a fair and appropriate price for the citizen and in support of the national products at the same time, explaining further ,in light of the global rise and shortage, the ministry also confirmed that they are working hard to achieve this for the best interest of the public.
