The Director of the Information Systems Center and the official spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works, Eng. Ahmed Al-Saleh, said about 900 employees working in various sectors have applied to cash their annual leaves in accordance with the Civil Service Commission Resolution No. (2) of 2022 issued on 4/10/2022.

Al-Saleh said, in a press statement, that the ministry began receiving requests for after the CSC decided to allow employees to encash their balance leave provided it is done based on certain conditions, reports a local Arabic daily.

Al-Saleh said that the conditions of the Civil Service Bureau are applied in this regard, which stipulated in the applicant several conditions to benefit from the balance of his leave.

Meanwhile, another local daily quoting the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Social Affairs, Badr Al-Adwani revealed the Department of Administrative Affairs in the Ministry received, since the decision of the Service Council until yesterday, more than 700 requests from employees to encash their balance leaves during service

He pointed out that there is Administrative Circular No. (6/A) of 2022, issued by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Affairs, regarding the mechanism for submitting requests for cash allowance in exchange of vacation balance, obligating the Ministry’s employees who meet the conditions enlisted by CSC decision.

Al-Adwani said the last date for submitting requests is no later than June 16.
