The Environment Public Authority (EPA) signed an agreement with a Japanese company to experiment with a street paint that contains a substance that can reduce temperatures to 10 degrees Celsius, AlQabas daily reported.

In a press statement issued on the sidelines of the signing of the agreement, the Director-General of EPA Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmad revealed that the coating process will start in April 2020, indicating that a choice will be made regarding the methods, and then the extent of the success of the experiment will be evaluated during the summer season.
