The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) expects to complete the strategic pipeline project to carry gas from northern Kuwait to the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery by February 2022.
The Al-Rai daily quoting the MEED magazine sources said the project is fast progressing saying construction work has almost been completed, and preparations for operation are expected to begin in mid-November.
The KOC had awarded the contract for the $450 million project in 2019 to the Indian company Larsen & Toubro, a lump-sum turnkey contract.
