The statistics of the Implementation Department at the Ministry of Justice for the year 2022 revealed that 5495 travel bans were issued by the Family Court against citizens and residents.
Legal sources told Al-Qabas that the first half of last year witnessed the issuance of 2,740 travel ban measures, compared to 2,755 measures in the second half, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The sources pointed out that most of the issues on which the travel ban was placed are expenses, custody and other family issues and disputes.
