On the first year anniversary of HH Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as Amir of Kuwait, we would like to convey our warm congratulations to him, to HH the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to the Government and the People of Kuwait.
We want to point out the progress throughout this year, despite of the Covid-19 constraints, which are currently and happily being overcome in the country, thanks to the intense efforts of the Kuwaiti Authorities and the people of Kuwait, under the auspices of His Highness the Amir.
We also want to emphasize the favorable impulse to our bilateral relations in this period, where political consultations and fruitful bilateral visits of both Foreign Ministers to each capital have taken place and some new agreements have been signed. We express our recognition for this valuable collaboration under the auspices of His Highness and expect this excellent performance to increase in the near future for the benefit of both countries.
Finally, on the anniversary of the passing of His Highness the former Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, I would like to transmit once again our recognition to his figure and his mandate during a fundamental era for Kuwait, where he greatly contributed to creating its image as a moderate country and as a key diplomatic nation committed to the regional stability and the peaceful resolution of conflicts, an internationally recognized and distinctive sign for Kuwait Foreign Policy, which continues to be so nowadays, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf.
