Banks have recently decided to suspend their policy of granting free loans and exit from the open competition to attract customers with this type of financing for a while.

A local Arabic daily explained the list of competing banks to grant free loans has begun to narrow to close the competition for two major banks that have great market power and high liquidity.

The sources pointed out that the banks that withdrew from the battle of free loans were full of activity and vitality in this sector, and were the first to launch these products to attract new customers, to record, however, tangible growth in their portfolios thanks to this policy, explaining that these banks noticed that continuing in the same way would increase the cost of their money, especially with the increase in bids for granting good loans, reaching 70 thousand dinars.
