The efforts of MP Alia Al-Khaled, related to supporting the demands of owners of nurseries for people with disabilities and schools, have been crowned with success, in light of the response of the Minister of Social Affairs, Minister of Women and Childhood Affairs, Mai Al-Baghli, following directives issued to speed up the process of disbursing financial dues for the current school year.

The Al-Qabas daily has learned that the Disability Authority, in turn, responded to the request for urgency, but a large percentage of schools and centers for people with special needs and learning difficulties that fall under the authority’s umbrella have not yet received their financial dues, whether the first or second installment.

In the context, Hanan Al Mudhahka, Head of the Association of Owners of Private Nurseries and Nurseries for Persons with Disabilities, confirmed that the authority disbursed financial payments to 98% of the nurseries only, and there is a delay in disbursing them to the centers and schools covered by the authority, for reasons related to the administrative and financial affairs of the authority and a decrease in the total number of employees.
