Dr. Abdullah Al-Enezi, supervisor of Kuwait’s Seismic Monitoring Network (SMN) at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) said Kuwait recorded today (Monday) an earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale, southwest of Kuwait, in the Al-Manaqeesh-Um Qadeer region.

He added the earthquake occurred at 11.28 am Kuwait time at a depth of 3 kms.
