Despite the evacuation of several stalls at the beginning of August, dozens of baskets of shrimp appeared in the fish market on the first days of permitting fishing, Al Anbaa reported.

100 and 120 baskets of shrimps were the outcomes of hours on the first day in the Fahaheel and Sharq markets, and the prices of its baskets ranged between KD 45 to KD 60.

The sellers confirmed to the daily that the coming period will witness more fishing and an abundance of baskets, especially after most stalls are opened and absent fishermen return due to the Corona crisis and the opening of auctions.

The customers, despite their happiness with the shrimps, expressed their sadness at the lack of Kuwaiti fish in the market and attributed this to the export and the presence of manipulation.
