A number of shop owners affected by the burning of the arms market are now organizing a protest in front of Mubarak’s booth, calling on the authorities to rebuild the market.
A local Arabic daily said the shop owners have called on the concerned authorities not to demolish the area but rebuild because it represents an authentic heritage for the Kuwaiti people and a history that must be preserved.
