The Ministry of Commerce and Industry sequestered a cosmetics store in Salmiya for commercial fraud, an Arab daily reported. After monitoring and finding a large amount of expired cosmetics and hair dyes in the store, security forces arrested the violators.
According to the report, the suspect was extending the validity period of the products by placing stickers and seals to deceive consumers, as well as changing the data of goods and country of origin.
Moreover, the commercial control team made a list of the seized goods and kept them, and completed the legal procedures against the violator.
