An unidentified woman who claimed to be a relative of an influential member of the ruling family has been summoned for interrogation for cheating an inmate of the Central Prison, who is serving time for an unidentified offence.
According to Al-Rai daily, the suspect convinced the inmate that she can get his name on the list of Amiri Pardon for 37,000 dinars with the help of her Sheikh friend.
However, after receiving the money, the victim’s attorney told the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) the suspect refused to answer calls and even changed the place of her residence.
