The Jahra Hospital was a scene of a bloody quarrel and a number of young men have been admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) while the others have been arrested by security forces according to Al-Rai sources.
The fight allegedly started in the Diwaniya of a house in the area and as the injured were taken to the hospital by paramedics, who responded to the call by the Interior Ministry, other fighters followed to the hospital to seek revenge.
Most of the young men who are admitted to the hospital have stab wounds and suffer from severe injuries.
The security sources said the fight continued outside the Jahra Hospital gate with knives and sharp objects. The fight caused panic among patients and visitors when some of the young men got into the hospital area and started breaking chairs and whatever they could lay their hands on.
The sources said the presence of members of the Special Forces in front of the hospital gates did not deter the fighters who managed to reach the intensive care area.
The sources added the Jahra police finally managed to arrest all the young men involved in the ‘ruckus’ and detained them at the area police station.
