A group of Kuwaiti volunteer students, studying in Great Britain, has earned the praise of the senior advisor to the Scottish Prime Minister for fighting the challenge posed by the Covid-19 pandemic with determination by calling them soldiers in the first line of defense, Al Qabas reported.

The founder and first president of the Kuwaiti Society in Scotland, Yousef Hassan Al-Jafar, a student of oral and dental medicine in the United Kingdom, said the President of the fourth oldest university in the world and chief advisor to the Prime Minister of Scotland, Anton Moscatelli has praised the efforts of the Kuwaiti students.

In a telephone conversation with the daily, Al-Jafar added: “We consider this tribute a badge of honor, as it has the emblem of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, and an instrument of recognition of the authentic Kuwaiti youth who love charity and volunteerism, and we present it to HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the Crown Prince.”
