Public Security officers in the Al-Jahra and Al-Ahmadi governorates arrested, in two separate incidents, four people (two citizens, a Gulf national, and an Asian) for promoting local wines and narcotics and seized from them narcotic substances, locally-manufactured alcohol, knives and sums of money.

The accused were arrested upon instructions from the Director of the Jahra Security Directorate, Brigadier General Saleh Uqla, and the Director of Jahra Security Operations, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Ibrahim, reports Al-Rai daily.

In Al-Ahmadi Governorate, Sabah Al-Ahmad city, the Ahmadi police able to arrest a Kuwait with past criminal records wanted by the General Department for Drug Control pending a case against him.

Police found on his person  21 hashish cigarettes for sale, in addition to a polyethylene bag containing a quantity of shabu.
