Kuwaiti security bodies are gearing up for the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadhan, based on essential security and traffic measures and arrangements, according to the Ministry of Interior.
Nationwide security preparedness and precautions come at the behest of First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the ministry’s security media chief Brig. Tawheed Al-Kandari said in a press statement.
They are part of a holistic integrated security blueprint purposed to ensure security control around mosques, markets and shopping centers, and to attain smooth traffic on all main roads, he elaborated.
However, he urged motorists to cooperate with security personnel and to follow traffic rules in a bid to fend off traffic congestion near mosques and markets. – KUNA
