The Kuwait Oil Company has decided to award the tender for security and safety improvements and the control, supervision and data collection system for Jurassic wells in northern Kuwait to the Heavy Engineering Industries and Shipbuilding Company.
The company had reportedly submitted the second lowest offer at f 15.8 million dinars and conformed to the conditions and specifications, reports Al-Anba daily.
Meanwhile, it has been decided to postpone the upcoming meeting, as the matter was referred to the technical sector for further study.
In a related context, the Kuwait Oil Company decided to float a tender for the construction of a substation for main consumption in Al-Rawdatain in the gathering centers 15 and 25.
The tender is worth 11.5 million dinars, and the Board of Directors decided that the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) authorize the Kuwait Oil Company to make an appraisal budget in accordance with Article 60 of the Public Tenders Law No. 49 of 2016 with the lowest priced bids and to provide the Agency with a recommendation.
