Temperature is forecast to exceed 50 degrees threshold later today (Thursday) with the scorching heat expected to proceed over the weekend. Yasser Al-Bloushi, the chief marine forecaster at the department, told KUNA on Thursday the Indian seasonal depression coupled with very hot winds would remain prevalent throughout Kuwait, also forecasting some scattered dust waves.

Top heat is expected to reach as high as 51 degrees shortly later today and would subside to 49 degrees at later hours. At night, the heat is expected to drop further to the 35-27 degrees level.

On Friday, the temperature would soar to the 47-49 degrees level and the lowest fall would be at 33-35 degrees range. On Saturday, Al-Bloushi said maximum heat would be at the level of 50-48 degrees and the lowest at 32-35 degrees at night time.
