Kuwait Minister of Education Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf said on Monday that schools will reopen next September. In a statement made during a virtual press conference, Al-Mudhaf noted that kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades students will return to schools on September 19 and the rest of elementary grades will resume studying on September 20.
Meanwhile, middle schools will start on September 26 and high school will begin on October 3. On a related matter, Al-Mudhaf added that the cabinet has agreed on holding paper exams for the 12th grade during the period from May 30 until June 10.
The second round of exams will be held from July 4 until July 13. Furthermore, administrative and educational workers of kindergarten, elementary and middle schools will commence their work on the 12th of September, and high school workers on the 19th. Al-Mudhaf stressed the importance of vaccinating all 12 graders alongside their teachers and administrations.
