Seven patients who suffered from infection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have given up their souls, spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Health declared on Sunday.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Abduali, speaking in his daily update about the pandemic, said with the new deaths, the overall figure of mortalities due to contamination with the germ climbed to 246.
He also reported 1,912 new infections raising the toll of such cases to 39,048.
Number of recovery cases rose to 11,457 after registering 1,313 new recuperation cases, he said, adding that 143 patients remained at intensive care wards.
