Saudi Arabia declared on Saturday registering 10 deaths and 1,704 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The official spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammad Alabdulali said in a daily briefing that total deaths from the virus reached 239, in addition to 37,136 infection cases.
A number of recoveries climbed to 10,144 after registering 1,024 new recuperation cases, he said, adding that 140 patients remained in intensive care wards.
Qatar: Single new death from coronavirus
Qatari ministry of health declared on Saturday recording a single death due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing a total number of fatalities from the pathogen to 13 in addition to recording 1,130 new infection cases.
The ministry said in a statement the deceased was of a 52-year-old resident, who had been subjected to medical treatment and suffered from some chronic diseases.
It revealed 1,130 new infection cases, thus raising a total number of the contaminations to 21,332. Most of the casualties were of foreign expatriates.
The ministry put a number of recoveries at 129, where the total count reached 2,499.
