Tuesday, the Tourism Projects Company unveiled the South Sabahiya Park, heralded as a comprehensive entertainment landmark poised to serve as a cultural showcase for Kuwaiti visitors.
In a press statement during the park’s inauguration, CEO Fadel Al-Dosari highlighted that the facility encompasses a vast array of entertainment and recreational services, boasting over 60 activities across a sprawling 107,000 square meters, reports Al-Anba daily.
Explaining the entry process, Al-Dosari noted that the company has designated a dedicated website or application for reservations to streamline admission.
The park features 136 investment activities, including grocery stores, restaurants, and cafes. Developed by the Tourism Projects Company with the involvement of national talents, the park offers free entry for individuals with disabilities.
Operating hours are from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, seven days a week, accommodating approximately 10,000 visitors daily.
It is noteworthy that the Tourism Enterprises Company, a state-owned entity, focuses on the operation, development, and management of tourism, leisure, and recreational assets. Additionally, it collaborates with government bodies, the private sector, and international companies to enhance Kuwait’s tourism and entertainment industry.
Hamad Al-Musaibih, Director of the Corporate Relations Department at Zain Kuwait, expressed that Zain sponsored the opening of Al-Sabahiya Park and “Winter Wonderland” since the previous year.
Zain also supported airplane displays on Green Island and the “Key-Land” project in partnership with Tourism Projects. The Zain pavilion at Sabahiya Park will feature various activities and events, including a PlayStation tournament for children, with prizes for all patrons.
Al-Musaibih emphasized Zain’s commitment to engaging with diverse segments of society and customers, especially in events and activities catering to families and children. Various activities will continue throughout the park’s operational period as part of the strategic partnership with the Tourism Projects Company.
