The Staff members of Royale Hayat hospitals in Kuwait celebrated the annual cultural festival of the Indian state of Kerala at the Indian School of Excellence, Salmiya.
The festival, was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Ms Kareena Handa from Royale Hayat Hospital by lighting the traditional lamp.
The festival which commemorates King Mahabali and Vamana, included a spectrum of cultural events drawn from Hindu tradition.
Taking part in the festivities were officials from Royale Hayat including Dr. Hamid, Dr. Yasser, Mr Shibhu Mathew, Noby Kuriakose, Narendra, Ms Vanitha, Dr Musheera, Dr Suraj, Mr Shiju Joseph and others.
The festival began with a Ghoshayatra — a procession to welcome King Mahabali. Participating in the procession were the staff members of the hospital including Thalappoli, Pulikali, Vettakkaran, Kummatty, Kathakali, Shinkarimelam.
A cultural program and Onam songs were part of the festival, a major annual event for the Keralites, performed by the staff members and their families.
