It gives me a distinct pleasure to convey, in my capacity as Ambassador of Romania, my best wishes of peace and prosperity to the Kuwaiti people, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Independence and the 30th anniversary of Liberation of the State of Kuwait.
It is even more relevant to me, as this is the first time Kuwait celebrates it under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait and, respectively, His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, to both of whom I extend my sincere congratulations, warmest wishes of good health, happiness and success.
I take this opportunity to congratulate the Kuwaiti authorities for their efficient management of the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope that, by joint efforts, the international community will overcome it soon worldwide, to the benefit of all of us.
