The Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport confirmed its continuous repairs of the Derwaza Al-Abdul Razzaq Tunnel, in coordination with other competent authorities to immediately restore traffic, an Arab daily reported.
The RTA had started the development work of the intersection area above the Derwaza tunnel and the surrounding area for the past few days, and officials expected completion of the work within approximately 90 days.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Works is keen on expediting the completion of work on the site according to international standards, especially since it is raising attention from the Council of Ministers, in addition to being a significant site in the capital.
