The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways, Ali Al-Dukhan, revealed that ‘Kuwait Airways’ has acquired the Terminal 4 of the Kuwait International Airport, which it was renting for one million dinars annually, which would reflect positively on the company’s profits starting next year and enhance its operational performance.

During a press conference which was attended by the CEO Ma’an Razzouqi and members of the Board of Directors, Al-Dukhan indicated the company’s revenues increased by 10% in 2022 compared to 2019, and 115% compared to 2021, while the profitability margin improved to 40% in 2022 compared to 2019, and to 37% compared to 2021, and passenger traffic at Terminal 4 grew by 26 percent in 2022 compared to 2019, and to 229% compared to 2021.

Al-Dukhan went on to say that the company received 3 new aircrafts this year, one Airbus A320NEO, and two Airbus A330NEO, and it also launched new destinations, such as Manchester, Madrid, Casablanca, Trabzon, Mycanos, Kuala Lumpur, and Hyderabad, while achieving a commitment to the discipline of flight departure times by 86 percent in 2022 and thus the Kuwait Airways achieved the third place in this aspect in the Middle East and North Africa.
