Within the framework of the plan to amend the demographics and clean the labor market of random employment and all activities which happen in violation of the laws in broad daylight, a decision has been taken to restructure the so-called Tripartite Committee.

The committee comprises of personnel from the Ministry of Interior, the Manpower Authority and the Kuwait Municipality and now will include members from the Ministry of Health and the Environment Public Authority, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The sources indicated the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, has issued strict instruction to tighten the noose around the neck of residence and labor laws violators to eliminate the phenomenon of marginal employment.

The sources noted that the inclusion of personnel from the Ministry of Health and the EPA in the Tripartite Committee is to expand the scope of its work in inspecting establishments and business entities, arresting violators, and increasing penalties against any employer that harbors those who escape from their sponsors.

Meanwhile, the sources said the committee from July 1 to 18 has arrested 40 violators of residence and labor laws and referred them to the concerned authorities.
