Kuwait plans to enforce a full curfew on Sunday, and  residents responded with panic, as there were traffic jams on streets, and long queues in front of  petrol stations and major food supply outlets.  Security authorities had to work to ease crowds and make sure shoppers were maintaining social distancing.

Crowding was a common sight throughout the country, increasing the resulting risks of contact with the coronavirus infection which the Ministry of Health is working hard to halt.

Not only were streets overcrowded, the cooperative societies and markets were filled with thousands of shoppers, as well as  petrol stations and bakeries.
