The residents of the Adailiya say they suffer because of a decision by the authorities to transform their once tranquil area into a commercial activity just like other areas in a way generalizing the concept and experience of other residential areas that boast of the same services is area classified that were classified as ‘typical’ according to the state’s structural plan.

Residents complain about the multiplicity of their suffering with overcrowding and the emergence of new phenomena that threaten the stability of the region, from a sports club to a supermarket and shops, from a football association to a commercial complex and from public benefit associations to restaurants and health clubs, not to mention the “mobile food carts” that have spread in front of service places, and to add to the insult a giant cinema has been planned as a front for a market, which will transform Adailiya into another strange area for its people (according to what they call it), and will erase its typical residential and social characteristics, reports a local Arabic daily.

Through the daily, the people of the area say they refuse to turn Adailiya into a commercial area saying it violates its characteristics according to the structural plan of the state.
