Kuwait is to receive the fifth batch of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine on Sunday. The Assistant Undersecretary for Medicines and Medical Equipment at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Badr, said that Kuwait has a direct contract with Pfizer International without an intermediary or agent, Al Qabas reported.

The quantity of vaccines that Kuwait will receive has already been agreed upon in a contract. The contract is between Kuwait the manufacturer without the involvement of any third party.

Al-Badr indicated that the regular arrival of the quantities of Pfizer vaccines will contribute to a noticeable increase in the frequency of vaccinations.
