The Guest Show is delighted to present H E Jonathan Gilbert, Ambassador of Australia. Ambassador Gilbert is one of the youngest and most active members of the diplomatic community in Kuwait. Simple, and down to earth, he always has a ready smile and a funny aside. He is a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Before being posted to Kuwait, he was the Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Baghdad at a very challenging time.
Ambassador Gilbert has been in Kuwait since 2017. On the Guest Show, Ambassador Gilbert shares a bit of his personal journey, his career in diplomacy, professional experiences, and his thoughts and insightful assessments of Australian -Kuwaiti relationship.
