Under the patronage of the Foreign Relation Department (Ministry of Awqaf), IMA YOUTH WING – Kuwait organized a Quran Campaign from the 1st to 22nd of January 2021. The theme of the campaign was (القرآن الى الرجوع)(Turn towards Qur’an) and was aimed at reviving the love for the book of Allah (SWT) among the members and associates and getting them closer to it.
Multiple activities were organized under this campaign to achieve its objectives, such as-
- Mandatory tasks were assigned to the members to study Surah Yusuf in detail and memorize Surah Alaa.
- A Social Media campaign was organized via Twitter, where a multitude from Kuwait spread the word of Allah (SWT) from the Quran.
- Posts with Quranic quotes were designed and published daily on social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The concluding program of the campaign was held on Friday 22nd of Jan 2021, the last day of the campaign, soon after Juma prayer with an intriguing theme-based speech by Engr. S. Ameenul Hasan, Vice President- Jamat-e-Islami Hind. Addressing the ardent attendees via online zoom call, he emphasized the importance of understanding the essence of the Quran and implementing it in every aspect of our lives and left the audience captivated with his well-researched and riveting speech.
