The decision of the General Administration of Civil Aviation to reduce the number of passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport, starting today, Sunday, and continuing until February 6, requires a specific quota for entry of passengers from each country so that the total does not exceed 1000 per day, Al Anba daily reported.

Source told the daily that the operating capacity for the number of passengers arriving from each country is determined. From the Emirates 84, 63 from Turkey, 42 from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Muscat, and 35 passengers from Bahrain and Doha, for all nationalities, whether citizens or expatriates.

The sources said that the airlines operating at Kuwait Airport would have to cancel many flights to implement the instructions issued by the health and civil aviation authorities, noting that the Ministry of Health directives last weekend were firm on the necessity to close Kuwait International Airport, but the efforts made by the General Civil Aviation Authority prevented this reducing the number of arriving passengers.
