The agencies operating at Kuwait International Airport set a quota for the number of arrivals from India to Kuwait, against the background of the Cabinet’s approval to raise the airport’s capacity to 10,000 passengers per day, Al Qabas reported.

The sources told the daily that the weekly quota from India to Kuwait is fixed at 760 passengers, the number of passengers would be divided between Indian and Kuwaiti careers as 380 per week.

The airport authorities are awaiting the approval of the Indian side on the proposed numbers, in preparation for scheduling and launching direct flights between the two parties, explaining that the civil aviation authorities in Egypt, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Nepal will be addressed to determine the quota of the proposed numbers for arrivals to the country.
