The required quantity of Pfizer vaccine will arrive in Kuwait in stages, starting from late December, all the quantities agreed upon with the company producing the vaccine will not be imported at once, Informed sources told Al-Qabas.
The sources added to the daily that the quantity will arrive through gradual stages on pre-planned dates to Kuwait.
This step is a measure to ensure the safe stocking of the vaccine. The aim will be to administer the vaccine to the target groups according to the ministry’s plans prioritizing as medical staff, nursing staff, workers in the first grades, the elderly, people with special needs, and owners of risk factors.
Noting that the priority, in general, will be for citizens to receive vaccines, while it will be given to residents if they are available in quantities that correspond to the population of the country, and agreed upon with the producing companies.
