Qatar Airways announced on Monday that it has resumed its commercial flights to Egypt for the first time since 2017 after resolving the Gulf dispute earlier this month in Saudi Arabia.

Qatar Airways said that the plane took off from Hamad International Airport at 3:15 pm (local time) and have arrived at 5:40 pm in Cairo International Airport.

“This flight is set to operate once daily, and will commence its operation to Alexandria International Airport twice a week,” it added.

On the other hand, EgyptAir announced last Thursday that the Egyptian operator will resume its flights to Qatar daily after the lift of the air embargo that was applied on the Qatari aircraft.
