Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health announced Tuesday that 643 more people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 24 hours.
This raises overall number of positive COVID-19 cases in Qatar up to 12,564, the ministry said in a press statement.
It reported that 109 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered in the last twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 1,243 cases.
There are 11,311 active cases under treatment. So far, 10 people died from the coronavirus in Qatar, the ministry said, adding that it had conducted 2,808 tests in last 24 hours taking the total tests done so far up to 91,415.
