The Public Prosecution said investigations into the leaked secondary exam papers reveal dozens of those involved in this case were using phone numbers belonging to Asians using dual and fake names which makes it difficult to reach them until this moment but investigations are still ongoing in the case to reveal any new involvement.
Weeks after the case surfaced and was referred to the Public Prosecution Office, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, investigations continued, and after other details surfaced the case took a new dimension, most notably the freezing of funds in the defendants’ bank balances, including 120,000 dinars from the accounts of the main suspects, and there are others who are being targeted, reports Al-Qabas daily.
With regard to the developments of the case, the sources announced that it is in its final stages, pointing out that the main suspect in the “test leak groups” is a fugitive citizen in Egypt – according to the investigations of the investigations – as for the second suspect, he was finally reached, and an arrest warrant was issued against him and brought before the Public Prosecution.
