The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigation, specifically the ‘Department for the Protection of Public Morals and Combating Trafficking in Persons, has successfully tracked down three networks involved in promoting vice and offering their services through various social media platforms.
With the requisite legal authorization, law enforcement officials apprehended 19 Asians from Salmiya. During the operation, smartphones used for promotional purposes and tools associated with indecent activities were seized.
The arrested individuals and confiscated items will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for necessary legal action.
