The Criminal Court has decided to slap a travel ban on a senior official of the Ministry of Interior, the secretary of former representatives, and a doctor in a case of money laundering and bribery. The case was discovered by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, and referred it to the Public Prosecution.

After listening to the testimonies of the suspects the court set Jan 27, 2024, to look into the case.

An informed source told Al-Qabas that the Public Prosecution has charged 3 former expatriate secretariats with receiving bribes.

The source pointed out that “investigations indicated that each transaction was completed by the accused in exchange for 2,000 dinars.”
