The Public Prosecution said that it pleaded for the first time in the history of the judiciary. before the Court of Ministers in the case of the “Eurofighter purchase deal.”
The “Prosecution” indicated that the Standing Committee for the Trial of Ministers had received from the Attorney General the complaint submitted against the former Minister of Defense and other officers. The committee charged them with intentional harm to public funds and concealing information from the regulatory authorities, reports a local Arabic daily.
The sources stated that the Public Prosecutor has given special attention to issues of public money especially those related to the higher interests of the country directing the Public Prosecution in turn before the Court of Ministers.
