A parliamentary proposal to restrict the services provided at government hospitals is not feasible, at least for the moment, said the Ministry of Health.
The Health committee at the National Assembly had approved a proposal to confine treatment in government health facilities only to Kuwaitis and GCC nationals, in order to improve services provided to patients. However, the Ministry of Health is understood to have pointed out that the plan was not workable under the present circumstances.
