The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressed Kuwait’s sympathy and solidarity with the victims of the devastating earthquake disaster that occurred in the north and center of the Syrian Arab Republic and the south of the Turkish Republic, offering Kuwait’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims in this painful calamity.

In this context, he indicated that, by order of the political leadership in the State of Kuwait, a private plane was sent to head to that region to evacuate the Kuwaiti citizens, stressing that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its missions in Ankara and Istanbul, is directly following up on the conditions of Kuwaiti citizens in the affected areas, and is working to ensure their safety and safe return home following the devastating earthquake that occurred in the north and center of the Syrian Arab Republic and the south of the Turkish Republic, which killed hundreds of victims and resulted in thousands of missing persons, injuring many people, and destroying their homes, facilities and infrastructure, reports Al-Rai daily
