The Egyptian Ministry of Manpower revealed that the request it received from health insurance hospitals in Kuwait to hire doctors and nurses was filed by a private health insurance company asking to bring in Egyptian workers to the country, an Arab daily reported. The report noted, however, that the decision of concerned authorities to stop issuing work permits for Egyptians remains valid.
