Within the framework of the joint cooperation between the ministries of Social Affairs and Interior, the Central Prison Administration has approached the Juvenile Welfare Department to seek its expertise in modifying the behavior of inmates in correctional institutions, particularly the drug addicts.
Informed sources told Al-Anba the Juvenile Welfare Department has developed a comprehensive psychosocial plan to modify the behavior of drug addicts who are receiving treatment in correctional institutions, as well as preparing a team of specialized national cadres to study the files of Central Prison inmates to modify their behavior through various programs.
