British Prince William surprised the customers of a burger cart by presenting an environmentally friendly burger from inside the cart in south London, to the astonishment of the customers.

The heir to the throne appeared in a video clip serving Earthshot burgers with the aim of highlighting the work of last year’s winners of the annual Earthshot Award, which he launched to help find solutions to major environmental problems, reports Al-Rai daily quoting Reuters.

“I’ll get (the burger) right now… Good morning everyone,” said the prince, while serving the burger to customers who looked astonished. It is well cooked and ready to go.”

William teamed up with the founders of the Sorted Food YouTube channel, which features kitchen gadget reviews and recipes, with the aim of highlighting the work of three previous Earthshot Award winners.

The prince went on to tell the customers of the burger cart, “The box you are about to eat in is made by Nutbla, and it does not contain any plastic. They came up with a seaweed wrap.”

He added, “The ingredients in the burger are grown in a greenhouse in India belonging to a company called Khiti. And last but not least…we cook it on something called Mokoro Clean Stoves, designed by a woman in Kenya with the aim of reducing air pollution.”

He added, “I cannot guarantee the taste and quality, but I get used to (this burger).”
